Best Players of the Week: Demchenko, Arzamastsev, Makeyev and Mikhailov

The Kontinental Hockey League’s commission has determined the best players of the nineteenth week of the Regular Season in four categories.

- best goalie was Vasily Demchenko (Traktor), who won two games last week. In the road game against Slovan in Bratislava, the Chelyabinsk goalie posted a shutout. In last week’s game, Demchenko posted a saves percentage of 96.88%, with a goals-against average of 1.00 (both figures are the best numbers of the week).

- best defenseman was Zakhar Arzamastsev (Salavat Yulaev Ufa), who scored a double in the away game against Avangard. The Ufa defenseman posted no negative ratings, being plus-2 for the week. He also blocked three shots from the opposition.

- best forward was Alexei Makeyev (Vityaz), who won two of two road games with his team last week, scoring 3 (2+1) points. The Vityaz forward posted no negative ratings, being plus-3 for the week.

- best rookie was forward Nikita Mikhailov (Sibir), who won two of two games with his team last week, scoring 3 (2+1) points. The Novosibirsk forward posted no negative ratings, being plus-3 for the week. The 20-years-old forward posted an average time on ice of 17 minutes and 12 seconds.
