To mark the end of the twenty-first week of the tenth season of the Championship, the Kontinental Hockey League has named the best players of the week in four categories.

Best goaltender, for the second time this season, was Ryan Zapolski (Jokerit), who played in two games, both victories, keeping the opponents off the scoreboard in one and allowing a solitary goal in the other. The 31-year-old American, who was also October's goalie of the month, recorded a save percentage of 97.87;

Best defenseman was Mikhail Pashnin (CSKA), who helped the Army Men win both their games this week, contributing 2 assists, 3 hits, and 4 blocks. The 28-year-old Russian finished both games with a positive rating - the best showing of all the D-men in the League;

Best forward was Ruslan Karlin (Severstal), who also emerged victorious in two out of two matches (against Salavat Yulaev and Ak Bars), scoring the game-winning goal in both encounters. The 25-year-old Russian attacker ended the week with 3 goals and a +2.

–– Best rookie was 20-year-old Neftekhimik forward Rafael Bikmullin, who enjoyed two outings, both on the road, for which his account showed 2 (1+1) points, 8 hits, an average ice time of 14 minutes 10 seconds, and a positive rating in both games, giving him a +2 for the week. His goal, against Torpedo, was the first of his KHL career.
