Salavat Yulaev has strengthened its offense with two forwards signed from Admiral: highly-rated 22-year-old Vladimir E. Tkachyov, who before joining the Vladivostok men last season had also worn the colors of SKA and Avangard in the KHL, as well as the Moncton Wildcats and the Quebec Remparts in the QMJHL, and 29-year-old Dmitry Sayustov, who had played for the Far East men since the 2015-16 campaign after spells at Traktor, CSKA and Torpedo. Tkachyov has signed up for two years with the Ufa club, while Sayustov's deal runs until the end of the current season.
Elsewhere, Neftekhimik agreed a two-way contract until the end of the season with much-traveled 24-year-old defenseman Ilya Nekolenko, previously with Ugra, Sibir, Metallurg Novokuznetsk, Severstal, Spartak and Atlant.
