The International Ice Hockey Federation has released the names of the elite brigade of 16 referees and 16 linesmen selected to officiate at this year’s World Championships, and no fewer than 5 of the 32 are from the KHL.
Referees Vyacheslav Bulanov, Konstantin Olenin, Jyri Ronn and Roman Gofman, along with linesman Gleb Lazarev, were chosen from a list of 62 candidates for duty in Prague and Ostrava from the 1st to the 17th of May, enforcing the laws of the game in contests between the best teams in the world.
For Vyacheslav Bulanov, it is the ninth time in his career that he has merited the honor.
